One of my favorite things in MGS2 that gets so underlooked is pressing R1 and R2 during the Codec Calls where it’s all like Snake/Raiden having inner thoughts. R1 is positive stuff and R2 is negative stuff.
So while you could skip the codec calls entirely you could just spam R2 and listen to them be whiny about everything.
This is one of the better examples of this feature.
