2 any brits who follow me and r starting uni soon

here are some tips. sorry these cant be universal but im talkin about specific stores here

1) go to home bargains to get your shit

i mean it. this store is seriously fucking cheap and everything is just as good as tesco or asda. i got most of my pots and pans second hand because my mum hates throwing shit away but she got me tea towels at wilko for like £2 when they were £1.75 at home bargains. “but princeton thats only 25p” YEAH BUDDY and PENNYS MAKE POUNDS u hav no idea how far 25p can stretch. home bargains is also great for

-stationery

-home decor

-furniture if you go to one thats big enough. not even a joke you can get a good oak wood desk for like? 49.99? as opposed to like 80 quid at ikea?

-food. tuna at asda? £5. tuna at home bargains? £2.75

and i mean home bargains, not b&m. nothing against b&m its just that its always a hit or miss with their stock with how quickly it rotates plus i personally have found it to be of a lower quality when home bargains shit is literally named brands but really cheap

2) ask for some STUDENT cook books. and i mean student ones. i have two (both called the student cook book) which tell you the general price of each dish. why would i rec this?? because you get bored of the same shit after a while. ive been eating chicken wraps for literally a year and ive finally gone just right off them and if i didnt have these books id have no idea what to have next

thats the big ones rlly good luck
