Lets take a leaf out of Sinatra’s book

My grandfather was in a Sergeant in the LAPD during the 60s and had multiple run ins with Sinatra who was known to be willing to throw down anywhere at any time. Once he literally chased someone into the police precinct where my grandpa was working. My grandpa stepped into the middle to break it up and and with his arm cocked back to throw a punch, took a look at my grandpa and said

You’d hit me back wouldn’t you Witt. 

and my grandpa replied

I sure as hell would Francis. 

Sinatra then laughed, clapped my grandpa on the shoulder and left, leaving the guy he had been chasing down, cowering behind my grandpa.
